Soldier's Last Letter

Never worth the price you pay,

Your family, your girl, your friends,

But it feels like I’ve got more than I deserve.

Still waiting to watch,

To laugh it all off in their face,

Enjoy what will be their grief.

Lost me a lot of sleep,

Every time I say I’ve had enough,

I’m never doing that again,

I wind up falling right back in.
Just as us Soldiers, this country's resistance should live.

I'm writing this down in a trench, and

I'm getting a feeling I've got a one way ticket over here,

But I'll fight and return to be with you

Just wish to see your face again.

Hang up my boots, put down my gun and take care of our son,

Remember I´ll always take care of you.

Well, the captain just gave us our orders,

And we will carry them through,
The resistance is strong, but us Soldiers will prevail.

I'll finish this letter the first chance I get, But for now I'll just say I love you.
